How to Merge PDF Files
Merging PDFs with this tool takes just a few seconds. Upload two or more PDF files by dropping them into the upload area or clicking to browse. The files will appear in a list — you can remove any file before merging. Once ready, click the Merge button and download your combined PDF document.
The pages from each PDF are appended in the order the files appear in the list. For example, if you upload File A (3 pages) followed by File B (2 pages), the merged PDF will have 5 pages in the order A1, A2, A3, B1, B2.

There is no hard limit imposed by our tool. However, very large PDFs may slow down your browser due to the processing happening client-side. For most everyday use cases — merging up to 20–30 PDFs of standard document size — the tool works quickly and reliably.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the merged PDF retain bookmarks and hyperlinks?
Internal bookmarks (table of contents links within the document) from the original files are preserved. External hyperlinks (links to websites) are also preserved. However, cross-document bookmarks that link between the original separate files will not carry over.
Are my PDF files safe when using this tool?
Yes. All processing happens entirely in your browser — no file is ever sent to our servers. You can even disconnect from the internet after loading the page and the tool will still work.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged directly. You need to remove the password protection using a PDF editor first, then merge the unlocked files.
What if the merged PDF is very large?
